Cleaning

As everyone who has stayed with us or seen our reviews will know cleanliness is paramount at The Lodge Brecon.

Every guest bedroom and en-suite will be fully cleaned and sanitised before each stay.

All bed linens are laundered at high temperatures after each stay

Fabric items such as mattresses, pillows, cushions, carpet, chairs and other furniture is sprayed with an approved sanitising solution, which is effective in killing Covid-19 but otherwise harmless to you and us.

Linens & towels are laundered on a high heat. All consumables are replaced before each stay.

Surfaces throughout the guest areas of the property are thoroughly sanitised and cleaned continuously throughout each day.

We implemented a ‘new normal’ cleaning/sanitising regime back before lockdown and are very familiar with the very extensive nature of the process and are constantly checking on updated guidelines.

Breakfast

We can seat 3 couples socially distanced at more than 2 metres in our dining room, however for your comfort breakfast will be staggered and we will ask you to choose a time.
If your chosen breakfast time is already taken, we will get back to you with other available options.

Although there’ll be no buffet; don’t worry all options from the buffet will still be available to order.

Please don’t forget to let me know if you have specific dietary requirements.

Other Dining Options

Most pubs and restaurants are opening in some way for food options. Due to social distancing guidelines it is advisable that you book ahead so as not to be disappointed. We can help you with this if required, please ask.

There are many pubs and restaurants offering takeaway meals in the local area so if you decide you would prefer that option rather than dining out just let us know and we can assign a dining table and time in our dining room for you.
Alternatively, why not take advantage of the outside space we have and sit out on the patio or pergola.

Check out and payment

Check out is by 10:00am.
We are currently not able to offer late check out’s as we have a minimum number of hours in-between bookings to adhere to.

There will be a container placed in the hall for you to place your keys into on check out ready for re sanitising.

If you would prefer me to take payment without you using the card terminal, I can take payment on your arrival day morning.
